DEPARTURE RULES : (Rule # 12 on the rental contract)

12)    When preparing to depart the resident must give at least 30 days notice before the beginning of the month in which he/she is leaving.  (Not 30 days notice before the date you are leaving)

The notice of departure must be given exclusively via email (verbal notice is not accepted).

How does this apply to your situation?

30 Days departure notice only applies when you are leaving precisely at the end of a month.

·         Example:  If you want to leave November 1st, we need your notice by email before Oct 1st. (30 days before the beginning of the month)

In cases where you are leaving mid-month, you must give 30 days notice before the beginning of the month in which you are leaving. (Not 30 days notice before the date you are leaving) In practice this means you must give your notice 30 days + the remaining # of days before you leave.)

·         Example: If you want to leave 15th of November, we need your notice by email before the 1st of Oct. (30 days + remainder)

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT RULES:

Under no circumstances can your security deposit be used in exchange for your last months rent. You must pay your last month as normal, and then we will refund your security deposit by bank wire transfer.

If you are leaving before the departure date stated on your original contract or email, then you will need to pay the difference in price per month like it is stated on the website

To reduce your original pre-agree departure date we require 3 months notice, 30 days notice only applied when you extand your pre-agree departure date.
